This dynamic leadership development program is designed to nurture and engage current and emerging leaders by providing a deeper understanding of the Kershaw County community through education, connection, and collaboration.

PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM

Leadership Kershaw County equips participants with the knowledge, skills, and network needed to take on leadership roles across the county. Through team building, professional development, and strategic networking, participants will gain insights into the key sectors that shape the Kershaw County community.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Leadership Kershaw County is an 8-session program that takes place over 10 months, including a kick-off retreat and a graduation ceremony.

  • Sessions are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, with some exceptions.
  • Class project: Each cohort will collaborate on a group project designed to make a meaningful impact on the community.

Whether you’re a business professional, nonprofit leader, educator, or community advocate, Leadership Kershaw County offers a unique opportunity to grow personally and professionally while making a difference in Kershaw County.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2026-2027 cohort.   The deadline for submission is Monday, June 1, 2026.

 COST

Program tuition covers all program materials, speakers, meals, and administrative costs, ensuring a quality and impactful training program.

Tuition: $1000

Tuition for United Way Partners: $750

Partial scholarships may be available. If you are interested in being considered for a scholarship, you may indicate this in the application form.
