The Kershaw County Parks & Recreation Department eagerly announces the 2025 swimming program held at our aquatic facility on 196 Battleship Road, Camden SC 29020. We hope to build and improve upon existing programs while offering new opportunities for friends and family. Join us for a fabulous summer of fun and learning which promises to be the best yet.

All registration for season passes, classes, and swim team will be handled Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Recreation Department office on West DeKalb Street. Following is information on the fee structure, hours of operation, and lesson schedules & descriptions. Additional classes will be announced as offered. Registration begins April 14, 2025 for Season Passes  and Swim Lessons. 

Registration begins April 21, 2025 for Summer Swim Team.

2025 SUMMER SEASON FEE STRUCTURE 

INDIVIDUAL SEASON PASS - $80.00

Refers to One person, 16 years old or older.  An individual season pass holder may purchase up to 1 guest pass@ $3.00 each per day.

COUPLE SEASON PASS - $100.00
Refers to TWO people on a pass.  A couple season pass holder may purchase up to 1 guest pass @$3.00 each per day.   

FAMILY SEASON PASS - $140.00 
Up to 5 members, $7 for each additional member) Max of 7 on the pass.  Family season pass holders may purchase up to 2 guest pass @ $3.00 each per day.

PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS - $60.00 (4 lessons)
Individual lessons for children as well as adults. Students will be taught at level needed.
Sign-ups will continue until 4:00 p.m. on the Thursday before the beginning of the session.

LAP SWIM - $40.00 PER MONTH for non-member

Scheduled time for pool members ages 16 & older to swim laps will begin on June 2, 2025

WATER AEROBICS - $50.00 per month

Class meets Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 9:00 am beginning June 2, 2025

LIFEGUARD TRAINING CLASSES - TBD; Course will  be held at our facility on Battleship Road; class will be limited to students interested in applying for our facility this summer. 
Successful completion will give student American Red Cross Certification. Must be 15 years or older.

GROUP RENTAL -  2 hours - $110.00 -group of 50 or less, $135.00 - group of 51-75, $160.00 - group of 76 - 100

SWIM TEAM - $80 per participant
Children ages 6- 18;  Registration will be begin April 21;   Only 100 slots will be available.
Minor will be ages 6- 11 and will have a max of 50 swimmers; Major will be ages 12 - 18 and will have a max of 50 swimmers.   Tryouts will be held for those that were not on the team last season.  

Splash Pad - Season Pass (Ages 17 & under) $30
                            Daily Fee (Ages 17 & under) $3
                            Rentals (Two hour time blocks) $100

Rental times available for your private use. Registration begins April 14.   Rentals begin June 6.
Full Rental fee due at time of booking.
