OUR PHILOSOPHY

Leisure time recreation has become essential to everyday life. The Kershaw County Recreation Department strives to maintain a quality parks and recreation program that benefits the community and satisfies the needs of its participants. The Department is open to new trends and concepts that would enhance program effectiveness. Employed by the Department is a trained staff who can assist you in planning leisure time. If you have a special interest not included in the programs, feel free to bring it to our attention. In every way possible, we will assist any person or group in finding recreational opportunities.

We are thrilled to announce that we have launched a new registration system, RecDesk.

Everyone will need to create a new account in the RecDesk system. Please remember that parents/guardians should be creating an account for themselves and adding family members under one household account. All members that will be participating in athletic sports will need to upload a birth certificate as none of those will be transferring over and we suggest doing so before your next registration period.

To complete online registration, please click here: kershawcounty.recdesk.com
(do NOT put www at the beginning)

Save time, submit any park issues or request online using this link:  Recreation Department Online Reporting

Effective April 17, 2023 all new facility rentals will require full payment at the time of booking.

Thank you for your patience as we transition into a new system that should allow for a better experience for all.

And the new Facility Rental Information is attached.
