The Kershaw County Treasurer's Office is responsible for:

• Collecting and distributing revenues
• Collecting real and personal taxes along with fees such as DMV, Sewer, and Solid Waste
• Receiving, depositing, and disbursing county and school district funds
• Disbursement of decals for the DMV

If you pay your car taxes online the SCDMV will mail out your decal and normally takes 7 to 10 business days. If you need your decal sooner, you can take your online tax receipt to the SCDMV to pick up in person.
