FALL LITTER PICK-UP EVENT SET FOR NOVEMBER 2ND

Kershaw County, SC – The Kershaw County Clean County Commission will host their Fall Litter Pick-Up Event on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 10:00AM until 12:00 Noon.

Earlier this year, The Clean County Commission hosted their first Litter Pick-Up Event which resulted in over 105 volunteers cleaning over 29.5 miles and filling 445 bags of litter. “We are so proud of this community,” stated Commission Chair Wanda Swann. “This is such a successful event because of the care Kershaw County has for one another.”

This event is a great civic opportunity for churches, community organizations, government agencies, citizens, and business owners to come together to beautify Kershaw County.

 

ABOUT CLEAN COMMUNITY COMMISSION

The Kershaw County Clean Community Commission is a nine-member commission appointed by each county district and one at-large. Reinvigorated in August 2018, the Commission works to make Kershaw County a cleaner and more beautiful county.

Appointed members include Wanda Swann, Chairman; Gene Hartis, Vice Chairman; Bill Nettles; Doug Fielding; Tom Webb; Dennis Outlaw; Becky Robinson; Pam Delk, and Christy Gardner.
