KERSHAW COUNTY GOVERNMENT OPEN THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 2019

Kershaw County, SC –  As of 5:00PM today, Kershaw County Government will be open tomorrow (Thursday, September 4, 2019) until further notice. This will include The Kershaw County Government Center, Landfill, Convenience Centers, and Courthouse.

Based on The South Carolina National Weather Service’s 4:00PM report, Kershaw County is still expected to receive minimal impacts from Hurricane Dorian with little to no change in weather conditions.  Beginning late this evening (September 4, 2019) and into Thursday morning (September 5, 2019), Kershaw County anticipates 1 to 1.5 inches of rainfall and wind gusts reaching up to 41 miles per hour.

Because weather conditions are fluid and subject to change, Kershaw county will continue to monitor Hurricane Dorian. For the most recent Hurricane Dorian information and county updates, visit Kershaw County’s website at www.kershaw.sc.gov or the County’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages using the handle @kershawcountysc.
