KERSHAW COUNTY TO EXPECT MINIMAL IMPACTS FROM HURRICANE DORIAN

Kershaw County, SC –  Based on the 9:00AM report from The South Carolina National Weather Service, Kershaw County is expected to receive between 1 and 1.5 inches of rainfall and up to 29 miles per hour (MPH) wind gusts beginning Wednesday evening (September 4, 2019) and into Thursday morning (September 5, 2019).

Kershaw County will continue to monitor the hurricane as weather conditions are fluid and subject to change.

Kershaw County’s Department of Safety and Emergency Services will maintain regular meetings with community partners to include The Kershaw County School District, law enforcement, and public safety as well as daily conference calls with The South Carolina Emergency Management Division.
