Kershaw County property owners have until September 10, 2026 to appeal the valuation of their reassessed property if they feel it is inaccurate. After September 10, valuations will be fixed and cannot be changed.
To do so, property owners can fill out an appeal form online and mail it in or apply in
person at The Kershaw County Assessor’s Office located at 515 Walnut Street in Camden
Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM.
Kershaw County reassessment notices were mailed to all property owners beginning
June 12. If you have not received your reassessment notice, please contact
The Kershaw County Assessor’s Office immediately at 803.425.1523.
Reassessment of county property is mandated by The South Carolina General Assembly
and is required to occur every five (5) years by law.
REASSESSMENT IS NOT A TAX BILL
Reassessment notices are NOT tax bills. Tax notices will be mailed beginning late
