Our mission is to conduct legal, orderly, and fair elections for the citizens of Kershaw County.

About Us:
The Board of Elections and Voter Registration is responsible for conducting all county, state, and federal elections that are held in Kershaw County.  See list and terms of elected officials.

The seven member Board of Elections and Voter Registration is appointed by the Governor upon the recommendation of the Kershaw County Legislative Delegation. A director is hired by the Board to oversee the day to day operations of the Elections and Voter Registration Office. The Board meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 9:00 am at the Voter Registration Office, 609 Lafayette Avenue.
